Old-Fashioned Lemonade
Ingredients :
· 4 cups water
· 3/4 cup sugar
· juice of 2 to 3 medium lemons

Cooking Procedures :
1. In a saucepan, stir in water and sugar. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool. Transfer into a pitcher full of ice.
2. Add lemon juice and blend well. Serve and enjoy!
3. Makes 4 servings.
Chilled tea may be added to either lemonade or limeade—about 1/3 cup for every cup of juice—for an invigorating lift. Add more or less sugar depending on the tartness of the lemon juice and your tastes.
VARIATIONS:

In summer, when limes are less expensive than lemons—a bargain, in fact—we find new ways to use them in place of lemons in recipes such as this refreshing beverage.
Substitute the juice of 4 limes for that of the lemons.
