This glaze takes no time to prepare and adds a simple finishing touch to plain cakes.
· 2 tbsp. lemon juice
· 1 tbsp. apple juice
· 1-1/2 cups icing sugar, sifted
· 1/2 vanilla bean
Cooking Procedures :
1. Whisk juices into icing sugar, adjusting liquid as necessary to achieve a thick but pourable glaze. You may need up to 1 tbsp. more apple juice.
2. Slice vanilla bean down the center and scrape seeds out into glaze. Whisk until smooth.
3. Makes about 3/4 cup.
