Spring isn`t complete without a visit to a sugar bush to watch maple syrup made in an old-fashioned boiler. For days after, we serve everything with maple syrup on top.
· 1/2 cup maple syrup
· 2 tbsp. unsalted butter, cold and cubed
Cooking Procedures :
1. Heat syrup in a small saucepan over medium-high heat and then whisk in cubes of butter until well incorporated. Remove from heat and let it stay and use at room temperature.
2. Makes about 1/2 cup.
