Classic Fudge Brownies

A prizewinning recipe for dense, moist saucepan brownies. Ingredients : 1/2 cup butter 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped 1 cup granulated sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs, lightly beaten 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans Cooking Procedures : Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).  Prepare a greased 8-inch square cake pan.  Set aside. In heavy saucepan, heat butter with chocolate over low heat until almost melted, stirring occasionally.  Remove from heat and continue stirring until completely melted.
