Old-Fashioned Lemonade

Ingredients :

· 4 cups water
· 3/4 cup sugar
· juice of 2 to 3 medium lemons

(Kitchen Measuring)

Cooking Procedures :

1. In a saucepan, stir in water and sugar. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool. Transfer into a pitcher full of ice.

2. Add lemon juice and blend well. Serve and enjoy!

3. Makes 4 servings.

Chilled tea may be added to either lemonade or limeade—about 1/3 cup for every cup of juice—for an invigorating lift. Add more or less sugar depending on the tartness of the lemon juice and your tastes.

Old-Fashioned Limeade
In summer, when limes are less expensive than lemons—a bargain, in fact—we find new ways to use them in place of lemons in recipes such as this refreshing beverage.

Substitute the juice of 4 limes for that of the lemons.
