· 1/3 cup soft butter
· 3 cups sifted confectioners’ sugar
· 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
· 3 tbsp. cream or milk
Cooking Procedures :
1. Blend soft butter, 1 cup of confectioners’ sugar, vanilla and cream (or milk) in a bowl.
2. Stir in 2 cups more sifted confectioners’ sugar. Beat until frosting is fluffy.
3. If frosting is too thin, add a little more confectioners’ sugar. If too thick, add a little more milk.
Makes enough frosting for a round two-layer cake or a big oblong cake or 3 dozen cupcakes.
Leftover Butter Frosting makes a great filling for graham cracker sandwiches.
