Quick and easy French fries without deep-frying. Make lots, as everyone loves them.
- 1-1/2 lb. Yukon Gold potatoes
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- salt, to taste
Cooking Procedures :
- Preheat grill on high. Prepare a metal baking pan.
- Peel potatoes and cut into thin French fries about 1/4 inch thick. Spread in a single layer on the prepared pan and toss with vegetable oil and salt. Cover with foil.
- Grill potatoes for 10 minutes, shaking dish occasionally. Remove foil and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes longer, or until fries are crisp. Drain well.
- Makes 6 servings.
