Strawberry Sorbet

Ingredients : 1-1/2 cup unsweetened strawberries, fresh or frozen 2 cup unsweetened apple juice 1/4 cup sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. cold water 4 tsp. cornstarch Cooking Procedures : Wash and hull fresh strawberries (or thaw frozen strawberries, if using). In a blender (or food processor), blend strawberries and apple juice until almost smooth. In a medium saucepan, combine strawberry mixture, sugar and cinnamon.  Cook over medium heat while stirring frequently for about 5 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Ingredients : 1 can prepared cherry-pie filling 3/4 cup flour 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. butter, softened 2 tbsp. milk 1 egg, slightly beaten Cooking Procedures : Pour pie filling into an 8 inch, shallow, round baking dish. Ingredients : 1 cup 2% evaporated milk 1 cup pumpkin purée (not pie filling, if using canned) 2 tbsp. granulated sugar 1 egg 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1/4 tsp. ground ginger Cooking Procedures : Preheat oven to 325°F.  Prepare 4 large or 6 small custard cups.  Set aside.
