Ingredients :
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 egg yolk beaten with
- 1/2 tsp. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
Cooking Procedures :
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour until thoroughly blended.
- Add the water and stir. When the sauce is smooth, add the egg yolk little by little, stirring constantly; taking care that the sauce does not boil. Season with salt and pepper.
